Ok, so i met with the florist today that i was so sure I was going to use. I havent been satisfied with her returning my calls, but I decided to give her the benefit of the doubt. I went in today, had made an appt last week, and she NEVER set up my flowers.....then when she ran around to make the flowers...they were terrible....and she said, oh well these arent frmo the place we usually get them frmo, and there not what we use for weddings....ahhhhh i am so upset....can anyone recommend a good florist....thanks!

John from Flower Michele! He is wonderful to work with. The flowers were all so fresh they lived for two weeks after the wedding (incl the bouquets that were out of water the entire wedding day!).

Lindenhurst Florist on Wellwood Ave in Lindenhurst are so nice and prices are great. They did my friend's wedding and her flowers were beautiful. Here are some pics of her flowers...oh they are doing my wedding too and it's $472 for everything (I DONT need centerpieces though) but its a GREAT price! And even the white roses were white white - not with edges that are already starting to brown (Ive seen a lot of that)

Its funny, I spoke to them yesterday and ADDED more stuff (petals to throw at the church, roses for my cake and a floral arrangement for the alter at church) and the total is ONLY $370 NOW with all that stuff added!!! I dont know why I was thinking $472! For that price, I am getting:
my bo-k 4 BMs bo-k's 2 corsages for the mothers 8 boutineers 1 throw away bo-k flower arrangement for the church rose petals to throw at the church 1 dozen roses for my cake
My flowers are black magic roses and stephanatis (sp?). I did not need centerpieces BUT my friend used them for her wedding and DID have centerpieces along with a bigger bridal party and he bill was not much more than mine! Hope this helps. Arista is the owner and she runs the shop with her daughter...they are SO sweet!!
