Okay so me and FH went to meet with a photographer today. He answered ALL my questions I had written down in like the first 15 minutes!!!! He was pretty cool, had pretty darn awesome pics, and decent prices. My question to you ladies....how many photographers did you meet with before you chose one?

Awesome! We only met with ONE and just clicked with him. It worked out for us, but if you have time you can look around. Who did you meet with?

I MET WITH TWO. WHEN I MET WITH THE ONE WE CHOSE, I JUST KNEW IT. I FELT SO COMFORTABLE. I KNEW THAT IF I HAD TO SPEND HOURS WITH THESE PEOPLE ON THE DAY OF THE WEDDING THAT I WANTED TO LIKE THEM. THAT'S WHY WE PICKED THEM. I HAVE HEARD OF GIRLS MEETING WITH SEVERAL. GOOD LUCK!

I have might with (4) so far and I liked 2 out of 4. I want to check out Patken and Duet and then I will make my decision.

FH really liked this guy....he wasnt pushy....and he made us feel really comfortable...told us how long hes been doing this blah blah blah He doesnt want to look at any others,,,,, Anyway, we met with this guy Arty from Art-Istic Images....they are located in Bohemia.

FH & I met with three photographers and chose the second one we met with. I did not like the first photographer we saw (only met with a salesperson) & I LOVED the 2nd & 3rd photographers. Good Luck! Go with your gut, if your gut is telling you this is the right photographer for you, $$$ is right and you clicked then go for it.

We met with 3 photographers. Two were recommended from the hall, but I wasn't that impressed, so I met with the photographer my sister used and I realized that using them was the best choice!

We met with 5, but only because I had to prove to my mother that there were no photographers for under $1000. I would have been done with one!
I met with Domenick from Twelfth Night. He was the first and only photographer I saw and booked him right there and then. I thought he was great. I loved his work and he was very friendly.

i know my photographers and videographer. they aremy clients and i also been in weddings partys that they done pictures for so i didn't even look into anyone esle i just called them and told them i am engaged and to book me for oct 5 2007.

17. But I am psychotic. Like I needed to point that out! LOL...I didn't meet with Arty but my friend used them and she was very, very happy with her results if that helps.

We met with 3 photographers but I had done a lot of research ahead of time since I don't live in NY. Once we met with Duet, we knew that we were going to go with them.

I went to see Arty!
He was wonderful, and I've since recommended him to severaly newly engaged friends.....but photography is a very personal decision.
After comparing film and digital, we decided that we wanted to go all digital ---Arty uses film.
We also saw Taylor Studios, Duet, and Twelfth Night....we ended up booking Twelfth Night.

We're using Artie.
I went to 3 others, and really liked him. His photogrgaphy is pretty straight forwrd, traditional, and I was looking for a more photojournalistic feel, and he read my face and knew I wasn't totally onboard.
He asked me questions to get what it was I was looking for, and I told him, and then he pulled out an album where he used a 2nd photographer - then I was SOLD!
What I liked alot was that he wasn't trying to sell this more expensive option from the get go - he was so not a salesman - I like that.
FH really wanted to check him out, because he did his 2 neices weddings - I LOVE their pictures - matter of fact, Christine's pic is on his website. And his family has all GREAT things to say about working with Artie.
You won't be sorry.

I went to about 10. I actually booked with one and wound up canceling. Then I booked another one. I would look at a least 2 more, just to see what is out there.

I only went to one. My friend had used them for her wedding and she had me over to watch her pictures before I set up an appointment. I was very impressed, as was my mom, so we booked that night.
