I am so clueless!!

So I have been putting together my invitations since Friday night. I did a test print on a response envelope (addressed to us) Friday night. So today I run my finger across the ink to make sure it doesn't smear and it did! I figured after 24 hours it would be dry but NO!

I am guessing because I have metallic envelopes that the ink won't dry using an inkjet printer. Does anyone know where I can get all my envelopes printed on a laser printer for a low cost???

I had this problem with my menus. I even waited a week after printing my own and it still smeared. I ended up at Staples and let them print them for me.

One of my friends had the same issue. I think she ended up at Staples or Office Max.

Thanks everyone.

I actually found a tip online to spray Krylon's crystal clear acrylic on the envelopes (after printing addresses using an inkjet printer). It dries the ink as well as protect it from heat and humidity when being mailed. I tried it and it worked great. The ink does not smear. You can find it at Michael's (its usually locked up near the spray paints).
