Metroplitan in Glen Cove - Reviews?

Congratulations to all and happy new year!

Has anyone had or attended a wedding/event at the Metropolitan Club in Glen Cove? I am trying to plan a wedding long distance (I am in California) and I am not too familiar with Long Island. This venue was the only place I could find that was within budget, had availability on the date we wanted, had a minimum we could meet, and was located close enough to family guests. I would really appreciate ANY feedback you can provide. Thanks!

I don't know anything about the metropolitan but it was recommended to me as well.

If you're looking at the metropolitan, I don't know if you checked out Sans Souci in Sea Cliff, but it is WONDERFUL!

Maybe they'll be available?

Thanks for the tip! I am already in the contract-signing stage with the Metropolitan, but it wouldn't hurt for me to check your recommendation out on-line. Unfortunately, I won't be back on the east coast for another couple of months....
