Does anyone have feedback on the metropolitan in glen cove/been to any weddings there?

I went to a wedding there last summer and thought it was great. The food was awesome and it's a very pretty place. One of the best weddings I went too!!! You should check it out!

haha! we are. I still haven't picked a place though, and with prices I might have to move to march...but I'm trying my best to keep the november date for various reasons!!!
Another odd thing is as I'm looking at this thread, we are both at '111' total posts...

My FI's sister had her Sweet 16 there last year. The food was very good, although I would definitely not do the buffet. It was way too tight to fit people and no one realized that the 2 stations that they had set up had seperate food until after dinner was already over! Other than that, I thought it was a cool, laid back set up with the cocktail tables upstairs on the second floor overlooking the dance floor!
