I am looking at The Metropolitan as a possible place for my reception. Anyone been there or have pics of weddings there? Anyone know if they have ceremonies there? I can't seem to find any other pictures of the inside besides what is on the website. Is anyone looking into The Met?

Re: Metropolitan Questions
I liked it a lot and considered it. They do do receptions there.
I loved the bar. The only draw back for me was the layout and the size. All the tables are set up on one side of the dance floor so I felt like people in the back would be too distant. Also, I am planning on close to 200 people and thought it may be a bit too tight.
But, I've heard the food is excellent - the menu looks great and my uncle has been to many events there and liked the food. And I like the modern look of it.
Good luck!

Re: Metropolitan Questions
hi. I am getting married there in October, but using the Club downstairs. It is a completely different look and one of the rooms (our cocktail hour room) is on their site under 'gallery 2.' It is for smaller parties/weddings. I can e-mail you pics if you'd like. I don't have pics of the upstairs though.
HTH!

Re: Metropolitan Questions
I was considering the Metropolitan so I checked it out several weeks ago. It's so unique that I liked it a lot. I think my FH took some pics on his camera so I'll FM them to you when I get a chance. You should go check it out for yourself though. It's hard to get a true feeling of a place without seeing it in person.

Yes! Please send me any pics you may have! I really love that this place is unique and different. I'm hoping size and price is ok, I think we're looking at around 140-150 guests. I have heard that 200+ can get tight. And that gallary two photo is an amazing place to have a cocktail hour! It's going to be beautiful.

I looked at it too and i liked it except a few things bothered me. we are having our ceremony at our RH and I DID NOT like the way Met set up the ceremony. I also was turned off by some of the decor. It looked really outdated and dirty. JMO
