I've been researching for our honeymoon. I am highly considering Aruba (probablly the Marriott), but am also thinking all inclusive with Mexico. We are on a tight budget,

I'm a big fan of Aruba - check when hurricane season is in Mexico though.

yayyyy!!!!!! im staying at the Valentin Imperial Maya and also the Excellence, but the Playa Mujeres not the Riviera one.
i did a lot of research and read excellent reviews of both! i think we got a great price. for 9 nights including airfare in not the most basic room, but only 1 upgrade level, taxes and of course all meals and drinks, we are paying $3400
i think aruba is beautiful as well but mexico seems to be less expensive for luxury resorts

My vote is for Aruba. That's where we're going for our HM. I've heard the weather is perfect and the food is delcious. I can't wait

i stayed at teh excellence punta cana (in the DR) and the royal playa del carmen... loved both but the royal was a little better
