Ok, months ago I had her booked for my e-party which is this Saturday and she had canceled on my 3 weeks ago via email. Long story short, I am still waiting for my deposit back! Anyone use her lately? Is she here?? She told me she had to cancel b/c she had a family emergency out of town.
no but if i were you i'd try stopping payment on the check if she hasn't already cashed it instead of waiting for her to send it back...
It was cashed 6 weeks ago :(

i actually heard that she was out of town this week..i had emailed her bc i sent her in my deposit check, but it was never cashed

I honestly dont know how anybody uses her. Shes so unprofessional in that aspect. She was 45 min late on my sisters wedding day that her assistant had to start her. I think its rude and very unprofessional to treat people like that. And then to charge what she charges is crazy. I'm in the business and would never do that to someone. Cancel like that and not give back money and/or be late to every appt

And whats crazier is that I hear she only communicates via email. Whats that about???
So unprofessional. Honestly I own my own business too and I understand how overwhelming things can be at times, but I would NEVER treat my customers this way. So frustrating!
So in the meantime, I have to go to my regular salon to get my hair done for Saturday and now I have to dish out more $$ bc I never got my deposit from M*I*A back. As if I dont have enough wedding things to spend my money on!!!

I would think that you are entitled to that money back if you have a contract that she didn't hold up her commitment on...
