Miami hotel recommendations

Anyone who has been to Miami, where do you recommend and where did you stay? Thanks

Anywhere on ocean drive or collins ave in south beach is good. I've been there a thousand times ( well not really a thousand, but you know what I mean)

Whats your budget? How much per night?

Thanks for the recommedations.

We like to splurge on our hotel stays, but nothing too crazy. I read about a couple of the hotels you mentioned in the Fodors book. We are staying in Palm Beach first and then heading there.

I was at the Richmond last August, and it was pretty good- clean, comfy and walking distance to everything.

I second Loews, stayed there in June and it was great. It is a bit pricey but worth it.

TIDES hotel is very nice. i'm talkin clean, modern and fresh. it's right across from the beach and near the versace house.

there's this other hotel i stayed at called the AVALON. it's not on the beach but it's a block away from the promenade. which is nice because the beach can get very crowded with a lot of automobile/people traffic.

I stayed at Loews with DH, it was a great hotel, we had such a great time there in Miami

The hotels look amazing, but they were close to $400 a night and we are spending a lot on our hotel in Palm Beach. We probably won't be in our hotel much. I definetely will have a drink at The Delano though. Does anyone know anything about The Hilton, Fountainbleau, Marriott? I have been looking online and trying to narrow it down...

We stayed at the Marriott Courtyard in Miami Beach- 5 min drive cab ride from to Ocean Drive. It was clean. We are going back there in Oct from my cousins bachelorette party!
