OK, admittedly it HIS buisness if he wants to destroy his face and lie about it. But did you see the part w. the 13 year old boy holding hands w. him and practically laying on him?? If you have ever been around a 13 yr old boy, most are totally not like that- my cousin at that age wouldnt even let his PARENTS hug and kiss him in public. But this boy is sitting there snuggling w. MJ. It seems like a very inappropriate relationship to have w. a young boy as a 44 year old man. I think our society is a bit skewed when people w. a lot of money are given a lot more leeway with how legally responsible they are for their actions than the rest of us. If that was your next door neighbor, and he was having kids sleep in HIS bed, would you think that was normal??? I would not let my kids within 100 feet of that man.

Re: Michael Jackson Special
Just my opinion..this is the most publicity that Michael has had in a long time....hummm. Free advertising. It seems that his records have been selling like crazy in England ever since this special aired there. Better to be talked about negatively and keep your name in the news than for people to forget about you altogether. You cannot pay for this sort of advertising folks. As for Michael's claims that he was betrayed and now he is filing a complaint...again keep your name out there. This is basic marketing and it is surely working! Several months ago my husband read an article that showed just how much in debt Michael Jackson is. If not for the fact that he owns the right to most of the Beatles songs he would have no money. He borrows against those rights for his income. Sony has already threatened to sue him to get those rights in return for the money he owes them.
He did this interview for the money and exposure it would bring him and the more controversy the better. Everyone is talking about him and what more could he want?

Re: Michael Jackson Special
Off on a tangent for a second... Its funny that you said 'if that was your next door neighbor' - because the man who used to live next door to us (he passed away, there are new owners now). Well he had the reputation of also being very strange in the same aspect. He was a schoolteacher, and alot of his (high school aged) students would come over for help with homework, and then would spend the night and sometimes the weekend. (We were told these stories by neighbors, these stories go way back years ago). Yes, thats creepy. From the little that we had seen the man, he was known to be a very distant, lonely, and strange person. That in addition to what we've been told, makes for a scary thought, and yes there were rumors back years ago also.
Just discussion, not debate or not intended toward anyone in particular :
For some reason, I dont see it this way for MJ. Call me crazy or naive, but I just dont see it. Most of the kids with MJ are younger than High school age and most of them are underprivileged kids. MJ is known to be a kid at heart. Why would he have built this place called 'Neverland' ? IT shows what type of person he is. He is full of imagination, creativity and happiness. I dont think the child hugging Michael Jackson was the least bit strange. I actually said 'AWEEEE' when I saw that. Dont we all go to Disneyland ? Dont we all get cutesy wutesy when we see Mickey all dressed up in the street ? Are we all nuts for acting like children when we are adults ? My husband LOVESSS video games. Is he crazy ? I just feel that these kids dont have a role model in life and maybe things are tough in their homes, and Michael brings a sense of peace and happiness into their lives. Being with him makes them happy. I really dont see what the problem is. I do realize that he is not your typical 44 year old adult male, but then again, who IS the typical 44 year old adult male ? We can nitpick everyone, no one is perfect. Maybe what happened to him in his younger years has made him scared of relationships with adults, and he somehow never wants to let go of being a child. Im no psychologist and I dont plan to analyze this, but from where I stand, the man has done no harm. Yes he has some strange ways, and is a bit naive about the world around him, but it doesnt make him a bad person. His insecurities or whatever reasons that led him to plastic surgery dont make him a bad person.
In Europe, guys kiss eachother out of love and camaraderie, I think its a beautiful gesture. But im sure many people here would think its 'gross' and they might be gay. I think everything is a matter of interpretation. There is no right or wrong, and no one should have to change their opinion.

Re: Michael Jackson Special
We can debate this forever, the thing is we really dont know what goes on in his bedroom but him and those kids... I may be wrong in thinking that he is a lunatic..or i may be right..who knows.. my husband ALSO LOOOOVESSSS video games, he can play them for hours., however if i came home to find him playing them with all the neighborhood kids, adn then invited them all to sleep in our room, i think that would be strange...
He might be genuine.. who knows, i wouldnt take that chance with my kid thats for sure..
I also LOOOOVEE disney and my parents go every year.. im tring to get frank there someday.. but i think thats different then having it in your yard, for lets say to attract young children???? again thats not fact just my opinion....

Re: Michael Jackson Special
I will put in my 2 cents and then make my exit as people throw things at me
I feel MJ definitely has some psychological issues stemming from being a child star, and having an abusive father, and virturally no childhood or love from his Dad. HE is the product of his environment. Almost all child stars are messed up in one way or another. All the Jacksons have had plastic surgery b/c they had the same issues as him. He made it bigger than all of them, therefore the effect was greater, and he lost it the most. And of course, everyone talks about him the most and try to bash him every chance they get. He is trying to live forever in his fantasyland and be a child for as long as he can. He also feels for all the children that are underpriviliged, or unloved.
I DO NOT think he is a child molestor, or a bad father. As for the masks on the children, I see where he's coming from. Would I do it? Probably not, but then again, I don't have mobs and mobs of reporters and photographers following me around. So we all don't know how it feels to actually BE MJ. I do think it's wrong to judge when we don't really know what's going on? So, the kids sleep in his room, and the parents know it. Hmmm I'm still waiting to see the problem with that. The press, and people make something innocent to be portrayed as sexual. I think that is the only SICK thing about this situation. IT's our willingness to see something Bad or disgusting that isn't there. Society has a way of loving to bring people down, and making the worst out of everything. He is not the first person targeted, nor will he be the last. That's the sickness of society. If tomorrow, I see footage of him molesting someone, then fine. But until there is proof, I will take it for what I see it, Innocent. If there is something else going on, then I'll let God be his judge and jury, not me.
Plastic Surgery - tons of people do it, and tons of people go too far. So What???? I admit he looks awful, and he's done too much, but if that's what he chooses to do, it's his business.
