I agree will you girls. I looked like his son's hair was dyed. His eyebrows looked dark. I could be wrong though. I wonder what he does to his hair...is it a weave? you could see something on his hair line. He is just sick. Is his entire body white? Or are parts still brown.? How & why would you do that to yourself!!
I missed the thing about calling the son blanket? I don't get it...can you fill me in?

Re: Michael Jackson Special
THE FINGERNAILS!!! Did anyone else notice they were a yellowish brown color????
And I thought too that his son had a wig on or the hair dyed. Hey I'm a mixed breed myself and my mother is snow white and so is my husband...doubt my kid will come out without any color!!!

I thought it looked like he dyed his son's hair also. He is one crazy guy. He lives in a fantasy world. taht interviewer hit the nail on the head in the post interview after the show. He uses his money to create a fantasy world to feel like he is still the 'king of pop'. I have to admit, I was GLUED to the TV for 3 hours.

I agree with anna 1000000000%.. and to add to that I feel that so many people don't understand what that man has had to endure his ENTIRE life.. I believe that he truly loves his kids and I feel that he is protecting them by having them wear burkas (sp?), masks and covering them..
as for 'sleeping with children' as he said in the interview, the children have slept in his bed while he has slept on the floor.. I know many people right off the bat think, 'SEX' when hearing that and especially after hearing all these horror stories these days, and although it is viewed as inappropriate, I feel that it is innocent...
I truly feel sorry for him and believe that he loves kids and that he is a kid himself...
as for nicknaming the child 'blanket' who gives a s h i t.. we all have or have heard of other people with different nicknames, who are we to judge..
as for the comments about how those could be his kids, they are so white.. I think that has to be the most ignorant statement I've ever heard.. I'll just leave it at that..
editted to add that I feel that the interviewer was a ******* and he used and viewed him entirely different than what he is.. he used him, gained his trust and then turned on him..

Marcellabella, I think everyone here was just voicing their input on how THEY perceived the interview, I don't think that called for bashing anyone's post on how they feel. I didn't think that was appropriate.

Re: Michael Jackson Special
I wanted to add that I really don't think it's any of our business how many surgeries he's had - look at the rest of Hollywood??!! Granted, he's definitely lying I think, but why do I care? It's the other actions and behavior that worries me - it's just upsetting to see someone like that.
And I agree - I think the interviewer turned on him after the 8 months was over, but did MJ expect anything less? I can't imagine how much they paid MJ for the 8 month long documentary......

NuBride, all I was doing was voicing my opinion, wasn't that the purpose of this thread? and I wasn't bashing anyone.. tisk tisk..

Re: Michael Jackson Special
Really, alot of people commented here on his color and and someone commented on the 'blanket' name and all you did was bash them ..your comment was 'who gives a s h i t was he calls his kid, who are we to judge?' I believe that was you who wrote that, it sounded harsh to me especially after someone on this forum DID make a comment about his son's name, tisk tisk on you maybe you should go back and read what you and everyone else wrote.
It's so sad that these things always seem to bring out the worst in people.
I think you wrote this as well: as for the comments about how those could be his kids, they are so white.. I think that has to be the most ignorant statement I've ever heard.. I'll just leave it at that..
This is not bashing other people's opinions? so I guess I'm ignorant...

Re: Michael Jackson Special
Marcella, Thanks for agreeing with me, I felt like the black sheep here ! I really feel his love for children is sincere.
As for the interviewer, I thought he was a loser also. Like when Michael said he loves climbing trees, his favorite thing to do, the interviewer responded 'really, and not making love ??' what the hell was that ??? Talk about having your mind in the gutter ??? Why should someone have to have SEX on the top of their list ? That interviewer was the creepy one, not Michael. I felt like climbing up that tree with Michael, just to get away from that creepy idiot !
A little off on a tangent... We have a close friend who is also a very sincere, naive guy (32yrs old). He is EXTREMELY religious (yes more than anyone I have ever met, more than my grandmother wasm more than some priests out there), and guess what, SEX and PORN is not on his list as it would be on every other guy's 'top 5 list' on the planet. When he does see a woman portrayed sexually, he turns away, saying its horrible that they are portrayed this way, and that women shouldnt be looked at that way. He is extremely genuine, sincere and has no hidden agenda.
I dont know why someone like Michael that has a heart of gold, should be perceived as a nutjob. Its a shame that the world has come to this. That someone wanting to share his home with children is perceived as a lunatic. Maybe the real loonies are the parents that allow their children to go. It was clear that the child interviewed was happy and felt very close to Michael. Maybe these children dont have role models in their lives, and Michael is an inspiration to them. This whole interview can be looked at one way or another.
As far as the surgery and the children. Everyone in Hollywood has surgery. Why does he have to be scrutinized and grilled about it ? I have to agree that maybe his childen shouldnt wear those masks (only draws more attention), but thats his perogative. I dont think theres any evident reason that those children are not in good care.
This isnt meant to be an argument or debate. Just a discussion.
Yes, everyone in Europe still loves him. Its not about them being in a time warp (I know someone mentioned that). Maybe its about their ability to see the sincerity in him. And im sure there are millions of fans right here in the good ol USA. Michael is Michael and that will never change. His song 'Heal the World' is exactly who he is.

Jackson Files Complaints on Documentary Fri Feb 7, 7:27 AM ET
By MICHAEL McDONOUGH, Associated Press Writer
LONDON - Michael Jackson (news) filed complaints with two TV watchdogs Thursday over a controversial documentary about his life, during which the King of Pop revealed he sometimes lets children sleep in his bed.
Jackson, who said he felt betrayed by the 'terrible' documentary, had his lawyers file the complaints with Britain's Independent Television Commission and the Broadcasting Standards Commission, saying he had been 'unfairly treated' by the program.
His legal team also claimed that 'Living With Michael Jackson,' which was broadcast in Britain on Monday was an infringement of his privacy. The program was scheduled to air Thursday night on ABC's '20/20.'
The complaint filed with the Independent Television Commission alleged the documentary 'contains the clear innuendo that Mr. Jackson is guilty of inappropriate behavior with children.' It said the show's voiceovers, questions and editing gave credence to allegations made against him in 1993 of a sexual offense against a child.
In the complaint filed with the Broadcasting Standards Commission, Jackson said he was not given any prior warning of the narrator's intent to interview him about the 1993 incident or to question the legality of his current relationships with children.
The singer also said his own children were improperly filmed and he wasn't allowed to see the documentary, as promised, before it was broadcast.
The watchdogs have the power to censure offending broadcasters.
In 1993, Jackson was accused of molesting a boy who had stayed at his home. He denied the allegations and reached a financial settlement with the boy's family. No charges were filed.
In a statement issued earlier Thursday by his London representative, Jackson said British journalist Martin Bashir, who spent eight months making the 90-minute program, broke the trust placed in him, and added he felt 'more betrayed than perhaps ever before.'
'I trusted Martin Bashir to come into my life and that of my family because I wanted the truth to be told,' Jackson said in the statement, released by his London representative Stephen Lock.
'Today I feel more betrayed than perhaps ever before; that someone who had got to know my children, my staff and me, whom I let into my heart and told the truth, could then sacrifice the trust I placed in him and produce this terrible and unfair program,' Jackson said.
'Everyone who knows me will know the truth which is that my children come first in my life and that I would never harm any child.'
Granada, the television company behind the documentary, said the program was 'a truthful, open and intimate portrayal of many aspects of Michael Jackson's extraordinary life.'
'There has been no distortion, misrepresentation or breach of trust. Martin Bashir agreed with Michael that we'd make an honest film about his life and we've fulfilled that promise,' Granada said in a statement.
British tabloids have used the broadcast to criticize Jackson, but not all the fallout was bad. Jackson said he had received many messages of support from fans in Britain since the documentary was aired.
In California's Santa Barbara County, where Jackson's Neverland ranch is located, District Attorney Thomas W. Sneddon, Jr., condemned the 'media circus' around the documentary and called Jackson's admission that he has slept in the same bed as children 'much ado about nothing.'
'Sleeping in bed with a kid is not a crime that I know of,' Sneddon told the Santa Barbara News-Press.
Record stores in Britain reported a surge in sales of Jackson's records. Virgin Megastores said sales of his 1982 'Thriller' album were up 473 percent from last week, while the greatest hits package 'HIStory' was up 383 percent — sending both albums into the lower reaches of the chain's Top 100 chart.
When Bashir asked Jackson about his friendships with children, Jackson said: 'I have slept in a bed with many children,' including actor Macaulay Culkin (news) and his brother Kieran.
'When you say `bed,' you're thinking sexual,' Jackson said. 'It's not sexual, we're going to sleep. I tuck them in. ... It's very charming, it's very sweet.'
The singer has a 5-year-old son, Prince Michael I, and 4-year-old daughter, Paris, born during his marriage to nurse Debbie Rowe, which ended in 1999. He also has an infant son, Prince Michael II, whose mother has not been identified.

Re: Michael Jackson Special
I will admit that having plastic surgery is no big deal, however isnt there a point when it goes to far? and even if there isnt he just looks TOTALY creepy to me.. and its obvious hes had more than two surgeries, i mean why not just admit it? that i dont understand., and i will have to disagree about the love for children, i mean come on this guy is letting these kids sleep in his BED and he sleeps on the floor? he has like a 3000 acre property, why not just go in the guest room? His beliefs are not what society calls normal as far as his 'love' for children.. He lives in a house with a playground in his yard, and he has kids from all over sleeping there? WHY? hes 44.. why does he not have anyone his own age there? and where are the parents of these kids? He stated in his interview that he would like to adopt 2 kids from every continent, and while i think its admorable that he is willing to do this, i just dont aggree with they way he is with children. He was arrested for child molestation not to long ago and PAID HIS WAY OUT... he was never found INNOCENT by any means. I feel for him because i do think at one point he was a very talented man, however times change and his music is not liked as much as in the 80's or early 90's.. is that any reason to call the head of sony a RACIST???? seems as though micheal can dish it out just cant take it...

Re: Michael Jackson Special
I sort of do believe his not dirty love for kids... he himself said he wishes to live forever like Peter Pan... i think he really is a kid... but a disturbed man as well. Two surgeries??? come on! so his cleft just grew in? his chin magically grew? wow what kind of vitamins is he taking? I can't stand the man no matter how 'talented' he is... and honestly, after Thriller, his stuff wasn't that good.. JMO.

Re: Michael Jackson Special
Since he's a big star, I guess we can debate all we want about how far is too far with plastic surgery, whether or not he should lie, etc. but I also think that people get too consumed with other people's behavior-let the guy change his appearance, why do we have to get so worked up about it- I mean who really cares?? Does it affect us or our lives? I really don't think so.
He was arrested, but not CHARGED with anything in 1993. Yes he paid the kid and his family, but our law says 'innocent until proven guilty', not the other way around. So, I don't think it's fair to talk about what he allegedly did.
My opinion is that he is a perfect example of what the consequences are of being a child star.

Re: Michael Jackson Special
Im sorry but, i think paying your way out of a Child molestation case is almost like saying your guilty..
what about OJ Simpson, heres a man who went to trial and was NOT GUILTY of murder, but everyone under the son has pretty much declared him guilty...he can not have a normal life ever again...just goes to show you that innocent until proven guilty or not guilty really doesnt mean anything..
We pretty much have a right to our opinions of the man, and by going on tv like he did last night just opens himself up for these kinds of comments..And i really dont think anyone would care if micheal jacksons nose fell off ,of course its kind of hard not to comment on it, but this thing with the kids,, every news story is covering it for a reason.. there are children involved here..I think that is enough reason to get worked up..the thought of these kids being abused my him? When you are going to have completly BIZARRE behavior, this is what you get..
