Michael Vick was sentenced to 23 months in the clink for financing a dogfighting ring and helping to kill pit bulls that weren't good enough fighters. Michael heard the news in a hearing this morning.

The Judge told him, 'You need to apologize to the millions of young people who looked up to you.' Michael could have faced up to 5 years in jail.

He still faces state dogfighting charges in Virginia.

Michael is also in financial ruin. His homes in Atlanta and Virginia have both been put on the market. He also had to pay over $900,000 for the care of 54 pit bulls that were taken from his home.

He is disgusting. I wish I had the power to say what they should do to him. And I'd like to do it!!! But, he could never be punished enough.

Good! I'm glad he's not getting away with it. I hate when celebrities get away with stuff just because they're famous.

He should have to pay for more time. He's lucky he had money cause if it was a reg person he would have had to serve more time. Such a douchebag.

Honestly, call me crazy whatever but I feel like anyone who commits a crime against children, animals, anything poor and defenseless should suffer an eye for an eye. I say the only thing appropriate for him is the same fate many of those poor animals suffered, but sadly, as many of you said, he will be out much sooner than 23 months. It's such a friggin joke.
