Michael Vick was sentenced to 23 months in the clink for financing a dogfighting ring and helping to kill pit bulls that weren't good enough fighters. Michael heard the news in a hearing this morning.
The Judge told him, 'You need to apologize to the millions of young people who looked up to you.' Michael could have faced up to 5 years in jail.
He still faces state dogfighting charges in Virginia.
Michael is also in financial ruin. His homes in Atlanta and Virginia have both been put on the market. He also had to pay over $900,000 for the care of 54 pit bulls that were taken from his home.

Yup... It's so sick... think about ALL the effed up people kids and our future kids look up to: pop stars, rappers, athletes... i'm sure you can pick one from each catagory that send poor messages to the youth of the world.

he deserves it! FH really liked him, had mcfarlanes, autographed pics, a jersey, and i made him get rid of it all, or at least out of view.

He deserves it--I think he should have gotten the full 5---and I am so mad, cause the first xmas with FH I got him an authentic Vick jersey---worst $300 I ever spent in my life

Hit him where it hurts,, his pockets. Besides the fees for taking care of those 53 dogs now, he should no longer be able to market him self (sell his story or any products) I dont think he can play football any more either. 18 months??? Isnt that what Paris Hilton had and she did only 2 weeks??

you are probably right...
plus he surrendered early which already gives him time served, which also will look good at his first parole hearing, whenever that is. He'll def. get out early. It's such a joke. I hate him
