Microphone Rental???

Girls,

I need your help! I will have a ceremony at the garden (outdoor). I talked to the venue manager and suggested to have a microphone during the ceremony. Both DJ and venue manager quoted me $200 to rent the microphone. Honestly, I think that's quite a lot for 20 - 30 min. ceremony. Do you know any other places offer lower prices? Thanks!

I recently booked a conference for work at the Four Seasons & they charged us $175 for the mic for the day.

BUT You should be able to negotiate that with your RH. I would get them to throw it in. They have it there already.

The thing is, you aren't just renting the mic: You need the speakers and the wires, etc. You can call Sam Ash or a music store like that & ask them what they charge to rent the equip out for the day. Worth a shot.
