So Ive been engaged for almost 2 weeks now, and the planning had begun! We really wanted a fall wedding, and were hoping for November 2012 but that doesnt look like its going to be a possibility. I guess I wasnt anticipating how far in advance halls book up! Its seeming more and more like we will end up booking March 2013 which is okay because the saturdays in march seem to be the same price as a friday in november!
For those who are booked in March 2013, would anyone mind letting me know of Saturday nights that were around $85 pp (if not less). Id really appreciate it!

We were looking for then too! Might actually be going into April now...Fox Hollow, Westbury Manor and Watermill (I think) are all around that price for a Sat night in March! Good Luck :)

VYC was under 85 before tax. We also looked at Chateau La Mer and CHCC which was also under 85 before taxes. We have a min of 190.

Thank you guys! I am going to check out VYC, for some reason I pictured that being out of our price range. I might have to add Westbury Manor and CHCC to my list, I was a little hestitant because they are a bit far from us, but if the price is right we can get past that!

VYC is a great choice in March.
Although, would you consider the beginning of November so you could have pictures with foliage? The only negative thing about March is that the trees are empty
What about Saturday night at VYC Like Nov 3rd or 10th? Even a Friday or Sunday would help save $$.

Check out Swan Club **The cheapest we saw in March!**, VYC, CHCC, The Riviera, Fox Hollow, The Coral House (I didn't go here but she gave my prices over the phone..). The Watermill (They give you SO much for your money, compared to everywhere else they were like double in the amount of food. We didn't go with them only because Lombardi's on the Bay gave us a great deal).
Good Luck!! In March most places will be less than $85 or right around there. There was a few places we went that were a little higher but for the most part, less.
Happy Planning!

The only promblem with the beginning of November is that my cousin is getting married the last weekend in September. Im afraid of overwhelming our families since we will share the same bridesmaid and most of the same guestlist. It also happens to be my sisters birthday and I'd hate to do that to her. We're 11 years apart, so shes still young and I wouldnt want to ruin her 14th birthday. Sadly, we fell in love with East Wind and the only day they had in November was my sisters birthday. Giorgios also only had one november date left so I'm beginning to accept that I'll probably end up a March 2013 bride! Which is fine with me!
We are meeting with Lombardis on the Bay, Stewart Manor Country Club, and Three Village Inn this upcoming week so we shall see how they compare! Now I'm going to have to check out the places that were mentioned on here! Thanks again!

Lombardis on the bay will only hold about 130 comfortably (they tell you more but I've heard the room is small.) The ballroom looks beautiful though and it's reasonably priced!
We went to Three VIllage Inn, the prices are higher than VYC and we didn't like how the parking lot was blocking the view of the water.
Of course, you should go anyway because you can't go by my opinion.
I think that November would be ok for another family wedding. A month is usually enough time but you have to do what's right for you :)
