Might not be a wedding!!!!!

Hey ladies! feeling real heart broken. FH and I was just talking and really getten down with our budget for the wedding and it is not lokking good at all. It looks like we might have to call off the big wedding because it is so much money. We sat down and really went through our budget and realized that it was going to cost us some where around 30,000 for everything. We can't afford that because my oldest son is graduating that same year so that means we have school ring, prom, senior due, senior trip, college a car for him. Then FH daughter is turning sixteen and he want to give her a sweet sixteen. So we don't know what to do.

I just feel like crying . I waited so long to for this to happen and know it looks like it might not happen. W e are talking about doing our counseling and going into my brothers office and getting married (O! sorry, my brother is also my pastor). I always wanted a wedding and it looks like it's not going to happen. Just needed to let it out some how. I don't want cry and then FH start feeling bad. Thanks girls for listening to me.

There has to be someway that your able to do it all. What if you & Fh cut cost in certain areas... or have you considered having your wedding at one of those all in one price places like Ariana Waterfall, Douglaston Manor or Brentwood Country Club...

I know right now, your down, but let's look at the positive you & FH are together, happy & in love,

I'm so sorry!!! What if you went with a cheaper hall, or had a smaller wedding?
Your children come first though, but even if you couldn't have a big wedding now, maybe you can renew your vows in 5, 10 years and go all out for that.

All hope isn't lost! What if you rent out a VFW hall? Get married by your brother...and then have a big party afterwards with all of your friends??

Don't give up hope yet, maybe there is a way to have a smaller wedding and still take care of your kids!! We are here for ya!

I know. But...... if you just do a big party afterwards...meaning rent out a VFW or a firehouse.... have family and friends bring a dish each of food, have someone dj (use an ipod hooked up to a speaker), get balloons instead of flowers, and dance around in your wedding dress you'll STILL have a fabulous time and you'll save a BUNCH of money.

We all ready started paying on the hall and if we cancell then we will loose that money.

I know you are serious but this is so cute. You put a smile on my face. What is a VFW? and I don't eat from everybody so I'm not asking anyone to bring a dish. I rather not have anything. I would go in my brothers office and just get married and call it a day.

I'm so sorry sweetie. We all know this wedding bs is real stressful. I agree to try considering an afternoon or an off- day. Hey, we're getting married on a Thursday! But look at the Thursday (July 3rd)... maybe they'll work with you???
