Re: migraines

I tend to be very immune to medicines but the one I take for my migraines is Relpax. I've tried plenty of other ones and this one works the best.

Excedrin - my bed - cool cloth and no light or sound.

Girls, today I am home b/c I woke up with a WHOPPING migraine headache! I get them every now and then, and am SO scared I'll get one the day of my wedding. Any advice?

I used to get migraines all the time so I know how you feel. When you start to feel the auroa and can't see very well take your medication right then....then if you can try to keep busy. If you fight it sometimes you can beat it. Also try not to eat too much cheese....they say cheese can trigger a headache. Also your hormones can do it.
Well feel better.

i feel your pain.. i get them very often. i went to a neouroligist got an MRI. everything was fine... he said the number one cause is stress..

so he prescribe me relpax.. I LUV it.. its a little expensive but let me tell as soon as i take it, i am better within an hour.. AND i don't know if its just me...but i actually feel like i have more energy.

good luck.. if u are that worried about your wedding day i would go to a doctor.

Stay away from red wine the night before make sure you get plenty of water or gatoraid ... I tried all the prescription meds out there and fiorocet taken with one aleve helps but taken at the first sign of one .. I cant take imatrex because of bad side effects and maxalt helps only if I take two ... excedrine doesnt help me just makes me shaky .. also if I take 2 of the aleve headache that can only be found behind the pharmacy counter (I think its a green box) right away sometimes that helps.... I also bought this wonderful toy i keep it on my head and it surprisingly relieves the pain! hope all these posts help ...
