She calls DH's cell this morning while we're getting ready for work. He's in the crapper so I answer it.
She says...
'oh! You scared me! I didn't realize you lived there'
Um, W T F?
I was too tired for a witty comeback, so I just said something like 'yeah, I live here now, I have for almost a month, get used to it'
Which is probably better than a snotty comeback, because of course now I'm like George Costanza and have a million great ones for her.
Today is her and FIL's anniversary...and DH and I were going to surprise them with a quick visit tonight. Now we're not, because DH got pissed about the comment. (He overheard my response and wanted to know what it was all about).

Neel, parent can be crazy. Kris, I'll do anything to make you smile. If I was on the phone with her I would said way too much and when she hangs up I would have call back and said did we get cut off and started all over again. I enjoy hitting people nerves and with a smile.
