MIL Getting Ready - With Groom or Bride?

Does the MIL usually get ready (hair and makeup) with the bridal party or seperately/with the groom? I asked my MIL if she'd want to join us in getting ready, but i just realized that it's probably better if she gets ready at the hotel with my FH and his guys so that she can take pics with him after he gets dressed and stuff. She is divorced and doesn't have a significant other.

Can you share your experiences with this?

MIL Getting Ready - With Groom or Bride?

I would assume the MOG would want to be with her son. Do you think she would want to get ready with you? If so and you are fine with it then why not? It's your day. You get to do waht you want :)

I have been a BM a few times and the MOG was never with us. Usually, they get their hai and make-up on their own. it is nice of you to offer, but I'm sure she would rather go with her son.

i know that my fh and his mom will be getting ready. thats a great photo opp. there for them and usually i feel that that is there moment besides the dance to have!

My mom and I are both very close with my MIL and I think she is leaning towards getting ready with us.

my MIL is coming to my hotel room to get hair and make-up done. Then she's heading over to our house to finish getting ready with her son

MIL Getting Ready - With Groom or Bride?

MIL is bring FSIL (she 14) to the house so she is getting hair and make-up done with us. She going to go first that way once she is done she can go back to be with FH. By the time she gets back FH probably will just be getting up.
