Some people just have no class. Just be thankful that your husband is not like his mother. I do count my blessings everyday that I have a wonderful MIL.

omg j i am laughing so hard!! no she doesnt hand us a check but at least 2 months before a holiday she starts in about how she wants money to make stuff and then says everyone has to come up with money and then the wallets open and she picks an amount, and she has 4 friggin kids who all kick in 130 or higher for a friggin lasagna that tastes like crap!!!!!!!!! she must pocket the rest..

OMG! and I thought Carol hiking up her dress and showing the underwear to the neighbors was bad. I would tell her forget the money and hand her a box of the large size of stouffer's frozen lasanga. OOOOh or better yet for her next birthday give her a gift certificate to her local supermarket!!

oh my give her a gift cert and you get it back for a holiday..if you get anything.. this christmas frank was out of work, but we bought her about 200 dollars worth of yarn and new tools for crochet and bags and stuff and new watch ( all this against my better judgement) and she gives her youngset son all this stuff and his girl friend pots pans candles and junk, buys his sister a new rocking chair and gives us FRIGGIN DOGOPOLY!!!!! and after she opens her gift she says oh my i didnt think you were getting me anything, SO this ungrateful woman figured we werent getting her anything cause we didnt have money so she barely bought her own dam son anything!! URGGGGGGGGGGGG

Suzanne I am sorry that your MIL is such a cheapskate. It stinks I know. But we all love you and were really worried about you. And if I knew where you lived I would send you flowers!! .
