military bride question - what color tux should the non-military usher wear?

my fiance is in the navy and will be wearing his dress whites. 3 out of 4 of the ushers are in the military and will be wearing dress whites. the other usher is my brother who is not in the military. so my fiance and 3 ushers will be in navy whites, and im trying to decide on my brothers attire.

would it look better if he is wearing a white tux? black tux?

my father and my fiances father will be wearing black. but for the pictures wouldnt it be better if all the guys in the wedding party were in white?

any thoughts?

any military brides who have advice?

just for the record, my brother would totally be able to pull off a white tux. he has an outgoing personality and when i asked him, he asked if he could wear a top hat and cane (which i said no to, of course)

hmm.. i'm not a military bride but my ex was in the Army.

I think you could go either way. Is your wedding day or night? If it's day i might go with white.. if it's night then black? It's just your brother though right?

I have pics in my review of my bridal party. We had Navy Dress Whites, tuxes, Army Dress Blues, Marine Corps Blues...you can see how it looked on my day and maybe that will help.

I think your brother should wear white so they all blend and match. If he was in black, he might not look like he's a part of the bridal party.

Hey I'm in the Navy as is my Fiance he is wearing his Dress Blues (I like them more than the whites) and we have 1 othe sailor who will be wearing his as well as one national guard and one army solider that will be wearing their Dress uniform and then there's 3 civilians that will wear black tuxes I think it sounds crazy but will look great and it saves money too

I would not have your brother try to match the dress whites, i think he should match the other men wearing tuxes
