Miller Place Inn

Has anyone been to a wedding at Miller Place Inn?? FH and I went there today and we really loved the place! We're going to still look at some other venues we like, but I felt very comfortable there.

Can anyone tell me anything about their experience and the food??

my friend went to one last year and she said:
food was amazing! cocktail hour was awesome so many choices all tasted great. dinner was good choices too and everyone at my table got something different and had nothing but good things to say. cocktail hour space is small inside, which may affect a winter wedding (summer, spring, fall can have outside space too)

Thanks! I'm planning on having a smaller wedding. I'd like to send out no more than 150 invites so he said that the cocktail hour space would definitely be enough since its the two floors. I felt really comfy/cozy there so that was nice. Glad to know the food is good!! Thanks!

Miller Place Inn - Long Island Weddings

I am getting married at the Miller Place Inn in 25 days. The staff is absolutely amazing every step of the way. They are very accommodating and truly want you to have an amazing wedding. Great food as well.

I am getting married there in july. Cant wait!! Chris and donna are awsome. Anything you need, they are right there. Food is great also.

My FH cousins got married there earlier this year.. I believe she did the all inclusive package and seemed very happy with it. As a guest, the ceremony they did outside and the area was beautiful but you could hear all the noise from the road which was literally right behind the bushes behind where we were sitting. Cocktail hour and reception was great - lots of food which was delicious. The only thing I didn't care for was they took our dinner order, then came back and said they didn't have enough chicken dishes and would anyone mind changing to another which entree which a couple of us did without an issue. However we found out later that tables in the front (who got their food first) were allowed to order seconds of the chicken and then there wasn't enough for the tables in the back. To me, it's a minor slip up and wouldn't keep me from booking there but the quality of the food was great. Just thought you should know :) good luck with your search!
