Millerage Cottage

Hello fellow brides to be. I just wanted to inquire if anyone has any price quotes for the Cottage at the Millerage for Fall 2016 and/or any reviews about the venue.

Milleridge was recently bought over. Many 2016 brides have recently cancelled and rebooked elsewhere because they aren't guaranteeing 2016 contracts as of right now because they do not have a lease for 2016! I'd steer clear until things get sorted out there.

Thanks girls for the help. I did read the article about the grounds being bought over but that the ownership would be the same. I had no idea that they haven't signed a lease yet.

Ok, I have to ask. I actually registered for this forum solely so I can respond to this post after just being a casual visitor this past year.

Where are you guys hearing this stuff about Milleridge? I am getting married there in January. I know that they were recently bought, but did not think this would change anything.

After seeing this post yesterday, I panicked and called them. I was told that my wedding absolutely would not be affected, nothing has changed regarding my contract, etc. I was told something along the lines of the grounds being sold, but not the (buildings? ownership? I actually forgot what she said regarding this part of it. I just know nothing will change.)

So why do those of you Milleridge Brides changing venues feel you need to do so?

winterbride - unless theyve signed a lease in the last week, they don't have a lease for 2016, which means they can't guarantee they will be running the place come january. right now the current owners are still managing it until the end of the year.

i would definitely call again or stop by or ask to speak with a higher up - in the articles they didn't specify anything about 2016 it was only after brides called they found out i think.
