I think that the food is acceptable. Is it breaking new ground? No.. but it is fine & the cocktail hour is good. I also think the service is very good.
We are having our wedding there on 9/27/03 and I did a lot of research before I booked. Many brides on here have indicated that the service was great. Very attentive and their guests were happy. I will ask my banquet manager what the number of guests per waiter is and let you know. I also hear from brides and vendors how wonderful the maitre de's are. At our tasting the food was fabulous. I have not (yet) heard anything bad about food or service at the MC. Have you had a tasting yet?
Went to a wedding there last year and from what i remember the food and service were both very good. The cocktail hour and deserts were great! They made a beautiful affair!
I had my wedding there last October-The food is very good wedding food, the service was very good as well & I asked alot of them. We had a cocktail style reception so we had a lot of service people. I asked them to do about ten million extra things, from handing out favors @ tables, to serving special drinks to people @ certain tables & they did it all! I think that they are very detail oriented for the price. Make sure you give your banquet manager exact details of how you'd like everything & they'll do it for you!! I agree with everyone else. We got married there in July - I was told that everyone's drinks were refilled without having to go to the bar, napkins folded, food served promptly, etc. I was happy with the service.
I just attended a wedding last week at the cottage. I thought the place was very nice. The service was great.
