What do you consider "reasonably priced"? It helps to know because we all have a subjective idea of what is reasonable....What is the maximum you want to spend? I know its hard to pin down when you feel overwhelmed but a few visits with a few photographers and you will know what you want. The price ranges are very wide out there.

Any details on how it went? what did you try? when did you book for? who are you working with? I absolutely love the place--did I tell you about the pictures on my website--i keep forgetting who I tell www.laurajeremy.homestead.com/home.html click on the big day and there are about 10 pictures in a slide show--it might take a few minutes to load Laura
We aren't getting married until April 2002, but do not want to wait to book site, as we have heard that prices are going up soon and we also don't want to run the risk of not having date available.
If anyone wants any details on tasting, let me know.

We are using Nadine as well-- 4-28-01--so we have about 9 months to go-- so smart to wait and save more money--It is amazing how it all adds up so quickly-- we had a budget and are no way near what we thought--partly because since we are spending so much at the cottage-- we keep going over on everything else-- but it is all worth it in the end!!! If you dont mind me asking what kind of price did you get for 2002? For a Sat night in APril 01-- ours was $101 for 2 star with adding the viennese -- so with tax and tip it comes to $127 a person!! yeeks-- so much money but I keep hearing great things about the place!! Laura
My sister got married there in 96, back then my parents paid over $100 a plate, I would hate to see what it is up to now. However in all sincerity is is a BEAUTIFUL place, especially the marble staircase when you first walk in
the atlantic gem caterers is in atlantic beach, west of long beach. It is a really beautiful place i went there for a wedding there last year. they had their wedding insidein a huge room. their cocktail hour was great. i've never been to an outside wedding there but they are right on the beach. good luck

Thanks for the info on the fried calamari--Jeremy will be interested to hear that!! I know what you mean about the large guest list--we are at about 270 right now and in the process of making it final--not a fun thing to do-- I love the Cottage as well and couldn't imagine having our wedding anywhere else ;-) Laura
The only thing I dont like is the cost..the room costs 130.00, whereas the other place I found costs 82.00. He insists that we dont have to give them both options. I think I should. What do you think?
