Hi everyone! This is my first time using LIW. It seems to be very helpful to everyone so I figured I'd give it a shot. I recently got engaged and I've begun searching around at some halls. I've been hearing some great things about the Milleridge Cottage in Jericho. My fiance and I would like to get married on a Friday night in November and we're planning on having around 200 guests. We would like to keep our budget to under $100 per plate.
Does anyone have any feedback on the Milleridge Cottage?

Re: Milleridge Cottage Info???
Welcome I didn't look into the Milleridge Cottage, because I am having a small wedding. But I do know that inorder to use their place, there is a min of 200 guest and anywhere up from there. I had called and didn't realize they wanted a gaurenty of that many, so didn't look into them any further. But I hear it is beautiful. Happy shopping

Re: Milleridge Cottage Info???
Thanks... I didn't realize that they had such a high minimum. We are inviting about 225 people. I don't think that I will be able to guarantee 200 people though. We sort of figured that we would have anywhere from 185 to 200 'yes' responses.
Do you know if they have a website? I've been searching the web but I can't find their website.

I used to work at the Milleridge and their minimum is 150. Just tell them that you think you are having like 150-200 and thats the minimum they'll give you. Debbie is great as well as Selena.
They throw a beautiful wedding.

Hi Golra02 –
We are getting married there in September and couldn’t be happier with our choice. If you can’t guarantee the minimum then you would have to pay a site fee of something like a $1000. Not bad when you consider some of the other site fees. Our wedding is a Saturday night in September so a bit expensive but totally worth it for all they offer. If you have specific questions, please feel free to forum mail me.

Re: Milleridge Cottage Info???
I love the Milleridge Cottage, but unfortunatley they couldn't accomodate my # of guests. I had too few for the Cottage and too many for the Carriage house. You should give them a call. I'm pretty sure they are in your price range.

I am not using them but here is what I found about them. They do not have a website but they do have a page on the Locations Magazine website. Cottage

This site is great Thanks everyone for all of the feedback. It's been a huge help. I'm definitely going to call and make an appointment to see the grounds.

My mom recommended them to me, she said they are very nice to work with (she is a musician) but we didn't book there..
From pics it looks really pretty!!!

Re: Milleridge Cottage Info???
I think they raised the minimums-- becuase when we looked last April you needed amore than 150 for a Sat afternoon wedding- and that was with a site fee. It can't hurt to call though.
