Ok...I got married on 12/7/03 inside the Atrium room...it was so beautiful because you could see ALL the snow outside...it was the weekend we got 20+'. The room is quite large...it seemed that almost ALL of my guests made it to the ceremony as well...we had over 150 people.

The Cottage House only does ONE wedding...the entire place is yours for the day.

The Carriage House is on the complete opposite side of a HUGE parking lot...you'd never see any other brides...the same goes for if a wedding was being held at the Milleridge Inn Restaurant...it's on another completely opposite side of its huge parking lot.

I didn't use candles at my wedding...but, they did have them all around the cake. I don't think that they'll have a problem with candles.

If what you mean by which package did we use...you mean which menu did we choose...the 2 star or the 3 star...we went with the 2 star.

Hope this helps a little...anymore questions feel free to ask.

franksbride - if it's not too nosy, do you have any wedding pics you can post? I'm so excited that you just got married there, it's nice to hear of someone with a very recent experience... and a good experience at that!

(We're going with 2 star also - 3 seemed a little excessive.)

I askedabout the candles too- they will provide 2 votives for the table. If you want more, you have to bring them, but they have no problems with that.
I hope I helped.

franksbride- I love your pictures!!

Re: Milleridge Q

I'm getign married at the carriage hosue & picked the 2* menu.
that's good to know about the candles. I might bring some of my own.
They did tell me I could bring in other decoratiuons, but i didn't persue that at teh time, b/c i didn't have any ideas yet.

The parkign lot seriously is huge. from teh carriage hosue it looked to me liek teh Cottage was onte other side of teh street, liek we'd have to leave teh parkign lot &cross a street, but it wasn't, it just looks far.

the only thing is when you enter the parking lot there is a sign point to each place & a sign with the name of the party.

I also got married at the Carriage House. Candles are definately ok! And if you are using the Carriage House I would definately recommend getting all different size pillar candles for the fireplace when you walk in. It looks really pretty.

Thanks that's a great idea.
Ddunne, I think we are the only Carriage House brides here.
Do you have any pictures?
