Mimosas in the morning

Mimosas in the morning

Is anyone going to have a mimosa the morning of their wedding? We are going to serve them to the BP with breakfast while we do hair and makeup, but I don't think I'm going to have one, I think it will make me feel like crap for the rest of the day. Any thoughts?

I love mimosas, but sometimes the combo of champagne and oj when I'm nervous or frazzled gets me sick.

I didn't. I just drank tea in the morning, it was calming/soothing.

Me too with the blotchy! I am so nervous that it's going to happen to me!

Sometimes I can drink through it and it goes away...

We are having them hands down no question. You can start off slow and just have more oj then bubbles to start.

'love in the morning' that's what we call Mimosas. I'm definitely going to have them. We had mimosas and bagles at the salon while we were getting our hair done for my cousin's wedding and it was so much fun. She said it was the best because it calmed her down sooo much. I can't wait to do 'Love in the morning' with my girls on my wedding morning!!!

We had them and it was great We had a full breakfast brought to the suite so no alcohol on an empty stomach

I'm so torn, b/c I think it will definitely calm me down, but on the other hand I'm nervous the acidic OJ and booze will hurt my stomach. I am irish too, and I hear ya on the blotchy thing, I didn't even think of that!

smart... I think a little alcohol to calm the nerves is a good idea and you always enjoy things when you have a little alcohol in ya.

you can always have sparkeling cider in the morning for yourself and anyone else that doesn't want to drink.
