so i emailed a vendor and asked about airbrushing and she said she only uses mineral makeup.. is that better than airbrushing?? i dont know anything about makeup (makeup to me is mascara and a little eyeliner) so do you think thats gonna be ok? or should i look for a different makeup artist?

I am sure she uses Jane Iredale its a preference in the makeup artist. Its up to you which you like better.

I'm going for a makeup trial tonight with someone that only uses that jane iredale makeup. I have seen her work and it's gorgeous. I'll be able to tell you more after tonight.

ok thanks!! i have no idea about mineral makeup or airbrushing. this is all new to me so i dont have a preference. i just wanna use makeup that looks great and lasts all night long.. no touching up

I had airbrushed makeup for my wedding & 'regular' m/u for my 'day after' pics. Both looked great and lasted all day. HTH

My make-up artist used Jane Iredale and it lasted all day. I loved it so much I buy it from her and use it everyday. You don't feel it on your face. I didn't feel like I had a ton of make-up on that day. This picture was towards the end of my wedding.
I also have pics in my album of my trial. I have never had air brushed make-up on so I can't tell you the difference between the two. I hope this helps you.

jld, i just looked at your review and not only was your wedding absolutely gorgeous, it seems we're using ALOT of the same vendors. jillian was the vendor i was talking about. its good to see she's highly recommended then!

oohhh thank you so much! Jillian is a real sweetheart! You will love her. Bring pictures with you if you know what you might like and she will follow the picture and of course use her own talent.
