Mini Cake Favors

Has anyone looked into the mimi cake wedding favors? I think they are so cute but everywhere in the city I've looked seems to be v. expensive. My wedding is out on the island so I would prefer to find someplace out there to get them ( hoping they'll be cheaper too!) Any suggestions/ prices? Thanks!

Mini Cake Favors

Hi JuneBride, I gave mini cakes as favors at my wedding in April. I paid $10 a cake (I think) and they were beautiful!! Our wedding cake was Tiffany gift boxes with different bows and designs in ice blue. My minicakes were each a litte gift box with the same color bows. They were ADORABLE!!! My cake was made by my site (Oheka Castle) and the minicakes were made by Outrageous Cakes (www.cakediva.com) in Hoboken NJ. The bows on all the cakes matched exactly, which was amazing to me!!! I put my cakes (each one was individually boxed) in little silver Easter Baskets (I was married Easter weekend) with the other favors (a tee-shirt that my husband and I designed). People loved then and thought that the cakes were such a unique idea. I hope this helps a little.. this was the chespest price that I found for the cakes. People quoted me $15-$25 per cake!!! Too much for me!!! The cakes tasted great and were adorable. I wish you luck! Ayanna-Anubride
