Mini Chateau Briand review
I went to a wedding last night at Chateau Briand and holy cow I was blown away! As soon as you walked in someone was there telling you where to go - not asking you whose party you're there for. I really liked that they stagger events so that there weren't a million people being shuffled into a thousand different places.
The cocktail hour was outside and it was gorgeous! I couldn't believe we were on Old Country Road and not on Ocean Drive in South Beach. There was so much seating - I didnt see one person having to stand and juggle their drink and plate at the same time. The food was awesome and the drinks were strong from the very beginning of the night.
The reception was in the Normandy room and it was really beautiful. I dont know what dj they used but they had uplighting and these really cool intelligent lights that lit the room up in all different colors. That's a really cool room to have lighting in - it really felt like it needed to be lit like that!
I got the chateau briand and shriimp and it was delicious! I LOVED that there was table service - I never had to go up to the bar. One of my favorite things about the place was their glasses - they were so beautiful. Not the standard reception hall glasses - they really felt like the went with the vibe of the place.
Upon leaving we didnt even have to wait two minutes to get our car. That was a big plus! Patken was their photographer and they did a great job! Overall, it was an incredible wedding. Anyone getting married at CB should feel very comfortable in their choice!![]()
