So FH and I were thinking about taking a mini honeymoon (say 3 days) after the wedding since I am a teacher and cant really take that much time off. We are planning the big trip during the Feb vacation, but we want to get away for a few days right after (Mon-Wed ish)... Can anyone recommend a nice place to go in the beginning of Nov? It cant be that far away either. TIA

The Poconos is nice my sister has been to the Caesars there a couple of times & loved it & there prices are usually really good!!

My husband and I also did a 'mini-moon' and plan on taking our 'real' HM sometime this year or next. We went to Boston for a week after our wedding, but for 2 days it's a bit far...
What about the Hudson Valley? My sister owns a store in New Paltz, and it's beautiful up there - and only about an hour/hour and a half from nyc. Look into the Mohonk Mountain House - it's pricey, but supposedly it's spectacular.
1. we didnt have to fly to get there 2. they had hottubs right in the rooms (Luxury rooms) 3. They were having a culinary weekend and we LOVE to cook together.
