FH and I are taking our honeymoon 6 months after the wedding so we want to plan a 2 night mini-moon right after the wedding.
We are looking for a hotel that is drivable distance wise and must have an outdoor pool and preferably a spa (or a spa nearby). I have come up with: old saybrook inn (in CT) fox hollow (their is a red door spa driving distance away) I would like danfords but dont think there is an outdoor pool
Does anyone have any ideas???

-Gurney's Inn in Montauk, Eastwind Inn in Wading River...both have spas on the grounds and are fabulous! - Fox Hollow Inn and Okha's Castle are differnet kind of overnight stays. -Maybe a hotel in the city? HTH!!

Fox Hollow also has spa services. I think it's in-suite, but don't quote me on that.

If you liked Old Saybrook Inn, check out Water's Edge in Westbrook.
Mystic and the casinos are within 20mins from those locations.

I saw that one of your choices was in CT...SO what about Foxwoods? The MGM Grand is gorgeous and they have an awesome outdoor pool area!!!
