My sister isn't going to be able to take a 'real' honeymoon due to her teaching schedule, so as her wedding gift, we want to send them away for the weekend to a nice relaxing resort/spa type of place. Does anyone have any recommendations for somewhere in the CT/RI/Westchester area? They live in Western CT and I don't want them to have to drive too far. TIA ladies!!

There is a Dolce resort in western ct that I went to a few years ago with my mom and sister - Dolce Heritage I think - it was soo nice. Not sure if they have a spa but that hotel was very nice, and the town it's in and the surrounding area was great.
Another great town to look in - Kent, CT, and the Bull's Bridge / Cornwall Bridge / Sharon area. FH's grandfather has a cabin up there and we've been a few times - so relaxing. It's in Litchfield County and probably not far from where they live now. Kent is adorable!

How about Atlantic City ..I always have fun when i got there , The Harris has an indoor pool , its amazingggg ... and the Borgata hotel is beautitul too

some woman i work w/ just had her honeymoon in Newport, RI and loved it there. They stayed at a bed and breakfast
