mini review
Just got back from my honeymoon in hawaii... I had a few requests for vendor reviews... so here it goes:
Westbury Manor- Fabulous! I knew when we booked this hall that they would be great... but they exceeded every expectation. When we pulled up the drive ur BM and bridal attendent (Ines and Pam) were standing there waiting for us. They escorted us to a private garden for our pictures, which was set up with a spread of food/drink for our party. We really lucked out with the weather.. It was close to 75 degrees, sunny w/o a cloud in the sky! Both the BM and BA were by our side the entire night, making sure that everything went off so smoothly. They made sure we were fed everything from the menu, and had a little alone time in our bridal suite before cocktail hour started ...and even packed up all of our belongings onto a dolly and wheeled it to our shuttle at the end of the night. I gave generous tips, and still feel like sending them a little extra something for the extraordinary job they did. Every one of our guests not only complimented us on the manor, but also mentioned how attentive the staff was. It was truly hard to miss! A+
Renegade (LI Paramount)- I made a must play list, and every single song was played. Their timing was flawless, and the dance floor was packed the entire night. LOVED them, and would use them again in a heartbeat. Dave the bandleader is a sweet guy, and really shows you that he wants your event to go exactly the way you want it!!!
Duet- what can I say that hasnt already been said about Jay? He was absolutely wonderful to work with. He has a very nice approach, very hands off, but gets every shot. If you want a great photographer who isnt in your face all night, go with Jay. I loved him! Cant wait to see my proofs!!!
Oksana- she was awesome as always. She got caught in traffic, but called immediately to tell me she would be there asap. Once she walked in she got started right away. She made everyone look flawless, and had a calming nature the whole time. My mom loved her and my bridesmaids were getting her card so they can use her again in the future.
Camelot Limo- worked with Joe, who was awesome. We used the brand new navigator, and a Rolls. Both cars were perfect and clean... ontime, and had great drivers. We also added a car to take my grandparents home at the end of the night. They sent a stretch limo, and my grandparents were shocked, and didnt believe it was for them. They also helped me book a ride home for me and my parents for the day after the wedding... the day BEFORE. They hooked me up last minute, and I was grateful! Top rate all the way.
Bridal Reflections- I bought my dress in Massapequa and loved the salesperson Susan. The rest of the staff was a bit snotty, but still helpful. They had a nice selection in a mid priced budget...which is what I had. I decided to get my alterations at the Carle Place location. They seemed a bit more organized here. My alterations were great, but over priced. If I could go back I probably would have shopped around to see where I could get my Jim Hjelm.
Denise Leli- headpiece and veils. I worked with Christie and she was extremely helpful and easy to work with. She even met me in the store parking lot after hours so I could pick up my veil right before a fitting. I recommend them!
If you have any questions, FM me!
