I agree with you. At least you have FMIL agreeing and she can back you up when you have to tell her. That probably makes you feel a lot better.

I think a headband would be cute. There is no need for her to wear a tiara. I'm glad your FMIL agrees with you. That should make it much easier to resolve.

Defiintely put your foot down and tell her how you want your FG to look. Just because it is her daughter doesn't mean she chooses the attire for your wedding, that is just ridiculous.

its understandable why it annoyed you. thats why i am seriously thinkin of not having children in the bridal party. just gonna leave it at the bm's and gm

but it is ur wedding, her daughter is just in it. so tell her what you want.

thank goodness your fmil agreed w you. that's ridiculous, i'd be annoyed if someone was telling ME what someone in MY wedding party was going to wear!! especially a tiara!

you didn't overreact. i think most of us would have felt the same way.
