I know we've covered this before, but I just wanted to go ahead and throw it out there again.
A while ago (maybe 2 weeks ago) I got an FM from someone asking me about a certain vendor's information. I dug out a crapoload of info about the vendor - pricing, pictures, more info, etc. This wasn't just a 'hey, here's the pricing. here's a picture.' I actually did a lot of research for this person.
Never got a thank you. No reponse.
Now I understand that sometimes its tough to get back to people. I know that after my dad passed and many of you FMed me that I was so overwhelmed and upset that it was hard for me to respond.
However, I think its kinda rude when someone is asking you for a bunch of info and you don't even write them back a two word - 'Thank you' FM.
K. Thanks. Back to writing my paper (the real reason for my annoyance )

Ugh I am notorious for this. Well, maybe not notorious, but sometimes I am bad with FM. I hope this isn't me!!

It wasnt an 08er. The point is that if you ask someone for a favor, you should at least be courteous enough to respond and say 'thank you.'

it really was! i was so happy they had turkey burgers and it was the perfect spot for a quick yummy bite before the concert.

This JUST happened to me and I wanted to start a thread about it because I was so annoyed that I took time out of my day to compose all the info I had into a FM. I don't think the person meant to be rude I think sometimes people just don't realize what a PITA it is to do something like that for them. I'm glad you started this thread because I'm able to let it out! Thanks bon and sorry that it happened to you too.

i agree its annoying when you go through the trouble but i have to say, ive gotten lots of thank you's so thanks girls! but of course bonnie, the right thing to do is to thank the person that helped you or provided you with info you were requesting

This happened to me too very recently. I spent like a half hour writing about my RH to someone who asked specific questions and they didn't even shoot back a 'thanks'. Arrrrg. Most people are so sweet and grateful which is why I stick around to help future brides but some make me

This aggrivates me too. Really, how long does it take to write two simple words? And, if that is too much works you can really just sum it up to 'thanks'...
But, some girls on here write you a thank you even if you respond to their posts, so I guess it all evens out!! Gotta take the good with the bad!
