People really just DON'T get it

We're going to a destination wedding tomorrow in Key West...with the airfare, hotel, car rental, it put a serious dent in my bank account. Then the groom wanted all the boys (my FH is in the BP) to buy these HIDEOUSLY UGLY Tommy Bahama shirts that cost $130 apiece! I honestly think he should have made that his BP gift because it's already

this is tuff situation. i understand you have a lot of weddings to go to and you are in other weddings as well but you kinda know what your in for when you say yes to being a bm, right?

did you have to say yes to all of them? are they all family and close friends?

if you can't afford it, then maybe you could speak to the bride and tell her that you don't think you can afford to be her BM anymore?

i do think it's ridiculous for her BP to want so much $$ from you, though ... $55 per girl for a basket of stuff is insane!
