With 28 days left to my wedding and my BM's still getting a FIRST fitting....WHY DO THEY FEEL THE NEED TO JOKE AROUND ABOUT THE F'N DRESSS?? I'm so not amused...
Went with one yesterday who's on the shorter side (5 feet) and because we got separates, she came out with the skirt hiked up over her boobs and said, I can wear it like this and then I wont need a hem...REALLY?! Like I need this at this point....
Maybe I'm just stressed out with it being so close to the wedding and that's why this is getting to me...

Dont fret! Thats a month for alterations. Many times dresses dont come in until a month before! Worry about you, its all you can do!

my friend's wedding is in two weeks and all 4 of her BM all had our first fittings within a month to the wedding.
it will all work out!

My alterations for my friends wedding was done in two days- It was really no biggie.
As for the boobie comment- she was joking.

you have plenty of time for alterations. my store told my MOH to come back for her first fitting 9 DAYS before the wedding. yes that is correct NINE days!!! she is going thursday July 28th for my august 6th wedding and they said they would have it done with no problem. and her dress is going from a size 22 to about a size 14 so its major work
