Is anyone doing this? FH and I are talking about it because were not going on our HM until april of 2014. Were looking for ideas, preferably off the island... What are you ladies doing?

We aren't doing this but are you looking for somewhere to drive to would you be willing to take a short flight?

The Poconos!!! We love it up there. There is lots to do on the resorts.... only a 2.5 hour drive.

FH and I are planning on going to the FL Keys because FH does not like to fly long distances. Maybe you and your FH can do a quick trip to the Keys?

I would if I weren't going on my honeymoon right away... There are a lot of good choices that could be relatively inexpensive but still romantic and fun.. poconos, atlantic city, niagra falls

We are getting married on a Friday night, and we both plan on going back to work on Monday or Tuesday, so we will probably go to the city, Montauk, or Atlantic City. Then we are going on our honeymoon Dec-January...I'm a teacher, we have two weeks this year :)

I'm planning on surprising FH with a mini moon to AC (where we got engaged) since we aren't going on our HM until December (I'm a teacher and this way only one of us needs to take off).

We might be going on a minimoon since we arnt going on our honeymoon till Sept. I was thinking either the city or montauk.

We're taking a minimoon to Niagara Falls the day after the wedding, we got points for the hotel so all we're paying for is flight and meals. We're not taking our 'real' honeymoon until the end of October.

We're doing this! We plan on going to Italy a few months after our wedding for our honeymoon, so we knew we had to do something right after the wedding. Since we're getting married in January, were thinking about heading down to the Florida Keys for a long weekend. I'm going to want to be somewhere hot!

We def dont want to fly anywhere.. Someplace within driving distance. Ill def look into the resorts (FH isnt much of a gambler) and Niagara would be nice but we went there last year for FHs birthday and want something different. Thanks for the ideas ladiesss!!!

My cousin is getting married in Saratoga in October so FH & I added a couple of days to that trip as a 'mini-moon'

How about going up to Cape Cod or somewhere in Mass or Kennebunkport Maine. Those places are so nice and quiet and could be really romantic. Or Montauk is an awesome option! HTH

Thinking about doing a minimoon. We got engaged in Jamaica in January and really loved going someplace warm in the the wintertime so we are probably going on our honeymoon during the winter. Since we are getting married in June we were thinking about AC or Newport, RI.
