Ladies - as most of you know, I have been sesverely ill with morning sickness - I lost 13 pounds, and was keeping NOTHING down - not fluid (like water) and DEFINITELY nothing solid...
I finally called my OBGYN yesterday, and she was concerned... she called in a prescription to my pharmacy for Zofran - a drug used to relieve nausea in chemo, radiation, surgery patients, but also safe for pregnancies...
I took the pill as soon as I got home last night, and I SWEAR - it was like magic!!!! I FINALLY ate dinner last night! And with a lemon ice after!
This morning - I ate breakfast!
Let me tell you the things you begin to take for granted when you can't do them anymore!

Were you sick throwing up or sick nausaous?
The nausea is still there - I can actually feel my stomach turning and trying to bring it up, but its like something is suppressing it - I have no appetite but I am making myself eat....
I'm not out of the water yet....
I was SICK as a dog!!!!! No joke at night id sleep on my bathroom floor bc i was going nuts trying to roll myself outta bed to make in in there in time! My daughter was 8lbs 13oz and i gained 10 lbs my whole pregnancy! I actually dropped 30 lbs after i had her......now that was great!!!!! Stupid me for letting it go back on!

I'm so glad you are feeling better Liza!! My sister used that drug and she loved it....hang in there, the sickness should go away in your second trimester!!

Congratulations! I remember the doctor offered me something for my morning sickness and I refused like a crunchy granola hippy biatch... I wanted to do EVERYTHING natural....
How stupid was THAT?
