Miracle drug for morning sickness....

Ladies - as most of you know, I have been sesverely ill with morning sickness - I lost 13 pounds, and was keeping NOTHING down - not fluid (like water) and DEFINITELY nothing solid...

I finally called my OBGYN yesterday, and she was concerned... she called in a prescription to my pharmacy for Zofran - a drug used to relieve nausea in chemo, radiation, surgery patients, but also safe for pregnancies...

I took the pill as soon as I got home last night, and I SWEAR - it was like magic!!!! I FINALLY ate dinner last night! And with a lemon ice after!

This morning - I ate breakfast!

Let me tell you the things you begin to take for granted when you can't do them anymore!

Were you sick throwing up or sick nausaous?

The nausea is still there - I can actually feel my stomach turning and trying to bring it up, but its like something is suppressing it - I have no appetite but I am making myself eat....

I'm not out of the water yet....

see if it's safe to add the emetrol i told you about to the mix...that might help with the feeling like you're going to hurl....

Good for you Liza! I took that after I had surgery! I am allergic to codiene and that was all they could give me for pain. and all i di was puke for 2 weeks! That stuff is the best. The only thing that stinks about it is the price! If oyu have insurance it's great but if not....WATCH out! They charged me $200 for 8 pills!
