because of recent 'issues' in planning my wedding, i have BLOWN my budget!!!!!!!!!!!
just curious, who else has blown her budget??
you don't have to give a $ amount. give a percentage if that's easier.
i'll start.... i blew mine by about 40%... people are taking advangate of my last-minute need for them.

I went over about 25%. This was supposed to be a SIMPLE wedding, not anymore.

'simple' that's the same bs i was believing when i started on this journey of tens of thousands of dollars
i just feel comfort that i am not alone and i am not living in the wedding twilight zone

Budget, what's a budget? We blew past our's MONTHS ago - and we're not even doing anything extravagant.

There is a simple way of not going over your budget...I have figured this out....We started with a budget...and as I saw that it was going over...I just raised the budget.... so now it 'looks' like I am not over budget....I am so glad I figured this out...lol so now you can not go over budget too!!!!! ( at myself)

I just never set a budget and tried to just keep costs down in general. I have no clue what thefinal cost was! Ignorance IS bliss.

Well we haven't gone over budget YET but we also haven't booked anything other than the hall and the church!
I made appointments today to meet with two photographers and I already know the pricing of the one that I'm head over heals for and I can almost gaurantee that it's going to be over the photo/video budget by probably 1k!
If that's any indication of how everything else is going to go, I'm in trouble!!!!!

Blown by 40%. But our first budget was extremely naive of us. After booking the RH, we had to bump up the budget. To us, it's worth it.

I recalculated my budget recently and surprisingly I'm under budget...

We never really set an exact budget, but everything is more expensive than what I thought it would be.

we are 200% OVER our original estimate. (honestly it was SMALL for a LI wedding...we just didn't know any better)
