Miss my pup

I just moved here about 3 weeks ago. My FH lives in Brooklyn w/ his parents and I moved in with him and them. I am from CT and really miss my dog, mom and house. Does anyone else feel sad when and if they are seperated from there pets. I miss my dog so much at sometimes I burst in to tears at night. When I call home I always ask my mom to put the phone to his ear so I can say hi, I know it sounds silly. My mom also tells me he misses me too. He scratches at my door to my bedroom and sits by my room. I miss him so much and I will only get to see him twice a month when I go home to visit.

awww. i dont think its weird that you call him on the phone. i leave my dogs messages! you should post on the PETS board. how come you cant take him with you? where are you living now? i dont know what id do without my dog Tinkerbell..... I miss her sometimes when im at work... which is bad cuz i work across the street from my house! today i made my fiancee bring her to visit me 2 times! i'm kind of 'obsessed' with my dog, as some ppl would put it. some ppl think its unhealthy, but i love her. i would DIE for her. i understand you completely. shes my baby. you can FM me if you need to talk. what kind of dog btw?

I couldn't brig him w/ me b/c I am staying w/ my FH and his parents. His parents I doubt would even consider taking him in. My mom wanted him to stay w/ her too. So I am kinda stuck. I did post it the pet board too.

oh im sorry i misread. what kind of dog is he? can you discuss the possibility of bringing him? maybe even for a 'trial' week or so?

he is a shih tzu. My FH already said no. I'll give it a shot, but I feel like there's nothing I can really do at the moment..

ohhh thats so sad. i didnt have my dogs before my FH, he got them for me, but its like a package deal now. (with my chi, Tink) People even know of they invite me somewhere she's coming with me. And when she's not with me ppl are like 'wheres Tink?' you just have to get in that mind set... its just harder youre living with his parents....... otherwise im sure you could talk him into it... its not like shih tzus are big dogs, why are they saying no?

my FH's parents are really old fashioned, they are from Italy, so its like what they say goes, at least until we move out before the wedding. Besides they are total cat people, Im sure if this was a cat they would be ok w/ it.

so when you move out will you get your doggy back? (whats his name?) I'm sorry, I just couldnt imagine living without my dog(s) so i can only imagine how hard this can be on you.
