Ok what is the proper way to use Miss and Ms. I looked on Cranes website and they said it doesn't really matter.

I want to have very formal invitations.

I always use Ms. for ages 18+

I use Miss for a single, never been married female, and Ms. for those that have been divorced.

There are some sects of liberal women who find Miss offensive.
