I have been on the pill for years. But this past cycle, when I was to take the 'sugar pills' I only spotted for my period. If there a chance I am pregnant? Should I continue to take the pills. I am very worried, how soon can I take a test? Shold I wait and see what happends for next period???

Take a test and call your doctor. You don't want to continue taking the pills if you are pregnant as it could jeapordize the pregnancy.
Try to stay calm.

Thats happened to me plenty of times, I would take a test just to be sure though! Don't panic.

WEre you taking antibiotics? Any vitamins/herbs? That can affect it...severe stress can throw you off, a change in your diet can alter it, I've had months where it was very light and lasted 2-3 days and that was it.

It happened to me. I missed a pill and doubled up and somewhere down the line I doubled up again by accident. I totally missed my period (not even a spot) and completely freaked. I took the test (it was negative) and went to the doctor. More than likely it's just a blip but to be on the safe side I'd take the test right away and call the Dr. so he/she can calm your nerves. Happened to me twice and I never missed a pill the doctor said that can happen. If you are nervous take a test but it is normal. Which pill are you on?

microestrine, I think. I might have doubled up, but i've done it before, so never thought much about it. I am constantly chaning diet & exercise, so that could be too. Is it too early to take test, and have accurate results?

If you were supposed to have your period and missed it I think you can. I was on Loestrine and like I said happened to me twice and both times my GYNO said it was normal. Call and double check it can't hurt

EPT test says you can take it the day you missed and is pretty acurate. It is common to happen when you are on the pill. Being all worked up about it can also make you miss. I would take the test just to play it safe.

I've had that happen many times. Some months are very light for me. If it will put your mind at ease take a test. As long as you've been taking them correctly you shouldn't have anything to worry about.

This is has happened to me.. totally freaked me out. I never stop taking my pill, even if Im afraid im pregnant. It totally screws things up if Im not, missed pills etc.
I guess if you're worried take the test and call your doctor.
Usually if I only spot very very lightly then I wait for my next cycle before going nuts. Usually by the time I worried Im already on my next pill cycle so I only have to wait 3 weeks for answers.
On a related note, is anyone else totally freaking out about even the CHANCE of getting pregnant before the wedding? Im so nervous about that. I've told my FH I'd kill him if I got pregnant.

That happens to me from time to time. You're probably fine, but to put your mind at ease, just take a home PG test.
