I had my wedding at the Fox Hollow in November, it was a great day. FH provides you with a bridal suite, and an attendant who shadows you the entire day... she also holds the key to your bridal suite.
At the end of my wedding, the attendant packed everything up and brought it over to the inn where I was staying -I had no idea they did this.
The problem is that I had a digital camera in the bridal suite that went missing. It was out in plain site on a counter, but the door was supposedly under lock and key from this attendant. I of course didn't realize this was missing until the next morning, and went back to fox hollow to see if it had turned up. No luck.
The operations manager helped me look, and said that a family member probably grabbed it, to check with everyone and call him back if not and they'd TAKE CARE OF IT. I called back, and was told nothing turned up, but to let them see what they could do for me -they'd call me back. I never got another call. I've been calling ever since, and constantly getting the run around. I am obviously being avoided.
What can I do about this? Is there anyway I can hold them responsible for the camera? Has anyone else had to deal with this, what did you do?

Re: Missing from the bridal suite
I have heard of these things happening alot. Especially at the catering halls. Lets face it the workers there make peanuts. So its no surprise they steal person property or money from cards.
It ***** that on your special day, you were violated

Re: Missing from the bridal suite
It definitely stinks, but I know that I had to sign a paper stating that if anything was missing/stolen from the Bridal Suite the hall would not be held responsible. I was told not to keep anything valuable in there, even though supposedly only the bridal attendant had the key.
I also don't think its fair to blame the staff - there are a lot of things going on and a lot of people going in and out all day. You never know what could happen. I am sorry though that this happened!

Re: Missing from the bridal suite
I think what is bothering me about this the most is that they told you they would take care of it..not once but twice, and then proceeded to not return your calls/avoid you. I'm sorry but that's really crappy customer service, especially when you just paid to have your wedding there. I would prersonally keep going...not even to get the $$ (glad to hear your insurance covers it) but I would write a letter to the owner, & your BM ..not that I would expect anything out of it...but make SURE that everyone is aware of it and how unhappy you are with the way you were treated (do this ALONG with a complaint to the BBB)
