missing RSVPs

ok so my RSVP date was a week ago, and luckily i am only missing two responses. one is a 'friend' of FH's that he has yet to call, and i have to say, i don't blame him for stalling. the guy is an a$$.

the other missing response, however, is from an old friend of FH's. in the past week FH and i have called him twice and sent him text messages. he is a teacher in the city, so he is definitely not on vacation. i guess my question is, what do i do if we don't hear from him at all? count him out and hope he doesn't show unannounced? track him down at his home in brooklyn? send a swat team?

seriously though how can people be so freakin inconsiderate???

First of all, I didn't think you would be up, posting this early! LOL...

Secondly, you are lucky you are only missing those 2. That's great! I don't understand how some people are that inconsiderate. I would keep calling, all hours of the day. What else could you do!?

Have you spoken to him at all through the planning process, so that maybe he mentioned whether he was going to come or not? If he has, then count him in. I think I might count him as a yes anyway. I know you will have to pay whether he comes or not, but what if he shows up and then there is no seat for him? Sorry I couldn't be more help!

Yeahhh gotta say 2 is not bad!!!!!!! I think we're missing about 16-17 response cards and 2 of the families live across the street and 3 houses down. Hopefully we'll get them all today yeah right! I need to start my seating chart Not to mention the fact that I need to know if these people are coming because I've almost reached the maximum for my room!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
