Just a Q- our RSVP date was Saturday and of course- we are missing A LOT. Probably about 100 or so ppl haven't RSVP'd yet. When do you think we should start calling? Next weekend? I want to give it a few days for the stragglers to come in..

We are still about 2 weeks from ours- but as soon as that day comes, the next day I am making calls and asking people to mail them.

I'm glad you asked this, I'll have the same question in a few weeks, I was going to give people another week and then start making phone calls and anyone who doesn't answer me after that I am going to assume it is a no (that's what one of my bridal magazines said to do)

I think u should start calling thursday. chances are a lot of people probably mailed them out on Saturday since many dont know the response is supposed to be received that day, not mailed that day. So by thursday all the people who mailed on Saturday, their responses should have arrived.

I'd say wait a few more days for straglers, and start making your calls on Saturday.

I'd wait a few for days for the lazy ones... My RSVP date is Aug 1st and I am going to wait until Aug 5th to start calling... I am still missing about 125 RSVPs and thats over 200 people... People suck!

Our RSVP date was July 15. FMIL plans to call her side today, which is good b/c we did get a few stragglers towards the end of last week. I would start calling a few days after your date.

In my next life I will cater by the platter or the pound or the pig or the pizza, anything but have to do a head count ever again! I still have five people who are 'probably' coming, several dates of people who are really coming. And several people who have never rsvp'ed at all.

I am short too and my date is 8/1/08. I am going to give them until 8/3/08 and then I am getting on the phone with them. If they don't respond to my call then I am assuming that they aren't coming. If they show up anyway they won't have a place to sit, so they can sit outside!!! If they want to be rude and not RSVP when I ask then I will be rude and not give them a seat. I will call Domino's for them though.
Just kidding I won't do that but sure would love too!!

I would start calling, you can't wait on them to send them. some people just simply forget to throw it in the mail, I had a couple of people tell me that when I called. just call and get your numbers, so you can start working on the seating arrangements

I am sending out postcard reminders on the due date. It's nuts how rude people are. I think u should call/ mail something now.

Hey date twin! My RSVP date was Saturday too. I'm missing quite a few as well. I don't have to tell the RH my count until 10 days before so I'm giving people until the end of this week and then I'm going to start making calls.

well I didn't get a bunch of rsvp's back either. Can you believe one person was like, oh do I didn't know you needed me to send it in if it is no. DUH, I only put the yes & the no option for show.

Our RSVP date was a Wednesday and we started calling people the following Monday. I would give it a few days and then start calling.

I got a bunch the week after the weekend they were due. My mom is calling the rest this week because a few of the people were at the shower so we knew we'd see them.

Our RSVP Date was Sunday. I started calling close family and friends today (mainly those who I know will attend). I hope to have reached everyone by mid next week.

I CALLED THE DAY AFTER STILL NEED ABOUT 2O MORE RSVP'S MOSTLY ON DH SIDE WHICH STINKS CAUSE HE HAS TO CALL
