Im getting married january 16 and im having worries about when to set the rsvp date and when to send the invitations out- i dont want any of the mail to get lost in the christmas card rush! any ideas/suggestions??? thanks ladies

I'm getting married at the beginning of January and plan on sending out my invitations by early October (3months) to allow plenty of time. My RSVP date I think is Nov 26th-ish, I forget exactly, but I did 5 weeks prior instead of 4weeks bc of the holidays.

I think it's best to send them out well in advance of all the holidays. This isn't as comparable but it is a similar situation... I sent our graduation party invites around the end of November and no one RSVP'd lol.
